Civ II Units


This table gives a brief description of the military units.
  • Unit type - The unit.
  • Made obsolete - The technology advance that renders the unit obsolete.
  • Do - If it is a ground (G), sea (S) or air (A) unit.
  • M - Movement. How many squares it can move in one turn.
  • R - Range. Applies to air units only. How many turns it can stay in the air without refuelling.
  • A - Attack. Chance that it will score when attacking.
  • D - Defend. Chance that it will score when defending.
  • HP - Hit points. The amount of damage the unit can take before being destroyed.
  • FP - Fire power. The amount of damage done to the enemy when attacking.
  • Shields - Number of shields required to build unit.
  • H - Hold. The number of units it can carry.
  • Ro - Role. The purpose of the unit. Can be:
    • 0 - Attack
    • 1 - Defend
    • 2 - Naval Superiority
    • 3 - Air Superiority
    • 4 - Sea Transport
    • 5 - Settle
    • 6 - Diplomacy
    • 7 - Trade
    • 8 - Explore
  • Prerq - Prerequisite. The necessary technology advance required to construct the unit.
